United since 2005, FRAMEST has developed its own repertoire ranging from classic and jazz to pop and other music genres in original a cappella arrangement. This has led to local and international recognition and success.
In 2010 FRAMEST was nominated for “The Debut of the Year” at “The Great Music Award”, the most prestigious Latvian state award in music founded by Raimonds Pauls, then the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, in 1993.
2011 marked collaboration with Grammy Award winning vocal ensemble New York Voices and its artistic leader Peter Eldridge, in June 2012 they met again performing in Riga.
Summer 2012 made a giant step in FRAMEST career – group participated in international contest of young pop singers "New Wave" in Jūrmala, Latvia and become laureates.
After the publicity of contest, FRAMEST recorded their first album "Svetki Ledus pili" following a Christmas tour around Latvia.
In 2013, vocal group FRAMEST did a lot of concerts with Big band, jazz trio and did some TV appearances. In late 2013 FRAMEST participated in rock opera "Lacplesis", giving a massive tour of 26 shows around Latvia.
At the beginning of 2014 FRAMEST presented Riga as a Culture capital of Europe in Helsinki Travel exhibition, giving 4 small concerts, as well as gave 5 concerts around Umea, participating in opening of Umea as a Capital of Culture. In November 2014 group went to a concert tour to China.
